Jason Elms

Director of Engineering, P.E., LEED AP

Jason ElmsJason Elms joined The Allen Group's Texas operations in April 2006 as Director of Engineering, assisting with oversight of the design and construction of all public infrastructure and private improvements in and around Allen Group developments in Dallas.

As Director of Engineering, Elms coordinates and supervises land acquisitions, entitlements, due diligence, land planning and zoning, permitting, budget administration, and construction. He primarily focuses on The Dallas Logistics Hub (DLH).

Additionally, Elms serves as the point of contact for governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, contractors, and consultants; and manages the design and delivery of all infrastructure and improvements for the DLH, including streets, utilities, landscaping and buildings. He is responsible for all land planning and zoning issues.

Prior to joining The Allen Group, Elms served as a Project Engineer, Project Manager and Department Manager for Jones & Carter Consulting Engineers, Inc. During his time with Jones & Carter, Elms functioned as District Engineer for the Rail Port Business Park on behalf of the Midlothian Development Authority and the Ellis County Rural Rail Transportation District. For these districts, he designed and oversaw nearly $60 million in public infrastructure improvements.

His experience includes project lead responsibilities on over 30 commercial site developments, ranging from one-acre corner drugstores to 90-acre power centers, and several large industrial site developments including approximately 4.4 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, he received a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce. Elms currently resides in Grapevine, Texas.
